Administrative Assistant to the Principal

Mrs. Angie King has been in the front office at Saint Mary’s since 1999, starting the year her son Avery began first grade at Saint Mary’s. Avery is now at Rome High School. Mrs. King has lived in Adairsville all her life and is married to her high-school sweetheart Evan, who has been a Postal Service employee since 1985 and now serves as Mayor of Adairsville. Mrs. King graduated from Adairsville High School and Reinhardt College. When Mrs. King began at Saint Mary’s, school was still being held in the old building. At that time, Mrs. King had to stuff old fabrics under the front counter of her desk to keep the cold winter air out of the office! However, she loves the new front office; having witnessed the progressive changes of recent years at Saint Mary’s, Mrs. King is grateful to be a part of the SMS family.
